The amazing Teatro di Marcello (Theatre of Marcellus), begun by Julio Caesar, was finished by Augustus who dedicated it to his nephew and heir, Marcello, who died at only 19 years old in 23 BC. The theatre had accommodation for 15.000 spectators.
